The Return to Stock position is responsible for process optimization management by analyzing the physical and systematic movements of component inventories during use on the various manufacturing lines. Works directly with the rest of Production, as well as Quality Control (QC), Warehouse and other departments to ensure accurate product location in dry rooms and Work-in-Progress (WIP) areas, as well as within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to achieve perpetual inventories in an “as used” process flow.
Estimated starting annual base salary is $23.30 less applicable with holdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. - Reconcile issued components with batch production to make sure inventory is accurate.
- Maintain batch production records; ensuring that they are issued accurately and documented for all production lines.
- Troubleshoot count errors, research for root cause error, and make corrections.
- Work with departments on correcting count issues.
- Assist with issuing products and components.
- Verify locations and quantity of product issued.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant work instructions, processes, and procedures including correct lot numbers and WIP item numbers.
- Report to packaging lead/supervisor if unable to use computer software to issue and return materials. Record transactions manually may be needed when software is not available.
- Create global trade item number (GTIN) and case label using computer software.
- Create and receive pallet placards.
- Verify pallet pattern and case count.
- Review upcoming work orders to ensure materials are available and delivered to the production line on time.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of production, warehouse or related experience.
- Basic communication, computer, analysis, investigative and math skills.
- 1 year of inventory-focused experience.
- Proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
