Overview
Position Summary:
Performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures. Performs proficiently in all aspects of two or more modalities. Provides Radiology services to all ages.
Performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures. Demonstrates proficiency in two or more modalities and provides radiology services to patients of all ages.
Minimum Qualifications- One (1) year or more as a staff technologist and performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures; able to take call or able to perform basic IR procedures.
- Able to take call.
- Performs proficiently in all aspects of two or more modalities.
- Completion of radiologic technology training in an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school.
- Completion of California State Certification requirements (C.R.T.).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.).
- Completion of California State Fluoroscopy permit (FLUOR) and Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Must meet all Rad Tech I and Rad Tech II competencies.
- Three (3) years of experience as a staff technologist.
- Associates degree in Radiologic Science.
- Specialized certification in CT, US (RDMS), or Nuclear Medicine (CNMT), or N (ARRT).
