Hematology​/Oncology Physician

Santa Cruz Clinic looking for 1 full time and 1 part time Hematology/Oncology Physician to start on 3/1 in their clinic!

Duties: Clinical Excellence:
Proved expert hematology and oncology care, utilizing the co-located Solari Infusion Center for modern treatment delivery. Partner with navigators and social workers to ensure seamless, supportive patient journey for diagnosis through survivorship.

Setting: Ambulatory

EMR: Cerner

Patients per day: 13-18 patients per day

Support Staff: Multidisciplinary Team:
Access support from nurse navigators, social workers, a pharmacy liaison for oral medications, research coordinators, genetic counselors, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage. Dedicated RN staff.

Clinical Infrastructure: 17-bed inpatient oncology unit with daily multidisciplinary rounds, weekly tumor boards, a rapid diagnosis clinic, and two radiation centers.

Reason for Coverage: Physicians leaving to start their own practice
