Ryder Drivers are paid weekly.

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Hours per week: 55–60
• Per diem: $50.00 per night (out 2–3 weeks)
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday
• Start time: 4:00 AM

• Deliver to: CA, OR, WA, MT,
• Route: OTR – out 2–3 weeks
• Tractor type:
  Sleeper cab
• Trailer types:
  Pup trailer 28', dry van 53'
• Equipment: hand truck, J‑bar, door hand truck, liftgate
• Freight: heavy touch – glass doors & mirrors
• Snow driving experience required
• Mountain driving experience required

• Uniforms, cell phone, boot allowance provided
• Paid personal time off begins day 1 – 80 hours in first year

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within past 3 years, or
• 2 years’ experience within last 5 years, or
• 5 years’ experience within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Some positions may require additional screening, including employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; road test; and/or customer-specific background requirements.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
