Job Summary
We are currently hiring delivery drivers (must be 18+ years old) to staff stores in the local area. You must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, an insured vehicle available for delivery, and the ability to navigate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi‑story buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
- Insurance on a vehicle available for delivery.
- Navigation skills to read maps and locate addresses.
- Ability to read and give correct written instructions.
- Verbal communication skills to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Computer keyboard or touch‑screen proficiency.
- Motor coordination and motor skills for rapid safe movements.
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+ in some work areas. Exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust. Work involves cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements- Standing:
Most tasks performed from a standing position. - Walking:
Short distances for short durations. - Walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum. Work surfaces between 36″–48″.
- Sitting:
Paperwork usually completed in an office at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries, up to 50 lbs, often unloaded using a hand truck. - Carrying:
Large cans (~3 lb, 7 oz), pizza sauce (~30 lb), pizza dough trays (~12 lb each). - Pushing:
Moving trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force. - Climbing:
Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders. - Bending:
Forward bending at the waist necessary at the pizza assembly station and front counter; holds for about 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated throughout the day.
Many team members begin as delivery drivers and may move into management, general manager, franchise ownership, or corporate roles.
