Overview
BLISS Car Wash (Maintenance Division) is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly growing team. BLISS makes a difference one car at a time and values a passionate, positive culture committed to guest satisfaction and water conservation.
Annual Salary: $65,000 to $100,000
Sign-on Bonus: $1,500 sign-on bonus (paid after 90 days of continuous employment)

- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, plumbing, and mechanical issues with equipment and determine repair approaches.
- Complete repairs as needed.
- Analyze site-reported issues, fix them, or create a parts list and order as needed.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment.
- Assist in replacement of old equipment.
- Identify potential issues before they are reported and create work orders.
- Run equipment through cycles to ensure the complete system functions properly.
- Troubleshoot and repair structural issues with equipment when welding is required.
- Maintain company assets, including service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Assist other departments on site to install marketing, safety or operational equipment, materials, or tools as instructed.
- Complete company forms and reports accurately, including work records, time logs, and site visits.
- Technicians may be dispatched or routed via Work Orders or calls.
- Transport equipment supplies or tools between sites or from warehouse to site as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes or modifications through manuals and service bulletins.
- Complete work orders, expense reports, and gas reports.
- Maintain proper inventory of parts on the service vehicle.
- Keep the maintenance team lead informed of significant problems, progress, or barriers to success.
- Comply with OHSA, ESA, and other regulatory laws, as well as company safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned by the maintenance team lead.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to follow instructions
- 1 year of experience on carwash plumbing and mechanical systems
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge and proper use of small and large hand tools
- Basic computer and networking skills
- Ability to learn through manufacturer training, manuals, service bulletins, or self-motivated research
- Forklift experience and/or ability to obtain Forklift certification
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Follow the company's vehicle and personnel policies
- Neat, clean, professional appearance
- Able to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Follow and retain instructions and training
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make good and efficient decisions
- Knowledge of low voltage, single and three-phase power, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, as well as installation drawings
- Metal fabrication and copper, PVC, and stainless-steel welding/assembling experience
- Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods
