We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Valencia, CA
.
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Job SummaryThe Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine analysis and laboratory testing procedures while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
What you’ll be doing- Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine data analysis, identifying potential errors and escalating to senior lab personnel.
- Prepare data analysis results for upload to LIMS system under guidance of senior staff.
- Assist in quality investigations, deviations, and resolutions.
- Prepare buffers and solutions for analysis as required.
- Guide entry-level staff on routine procedures and support onboarding of new hires.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and assist with training lab personnel.
- Communicate clearly and timely with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require a degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology).
- 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred.
- Proficiency with relevant laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Good computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- California Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) License required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirements (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while collaborating effectively with team members.
