Base pay range: $72.00/hr - $115.00/hr
Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology departments in Santa Clarita, CA
. This role combines clinical expertise with administrative leadership to support patient-centered care, efficient operations, and high-performing teams in two highly specialized areas.
The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with a collaborative approach, deep knowledge of procedural care environments, and a dedication to advancing quality, safety, and staff development.
Responsibilities- Provide direct leadership, supervision, and clinical guidance to nursing and support staff across Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
- Ensure optimal daily operations, including procedure coordination, staffing, resource management, and throughput efficiency.
- Foster a culture of excellence and safety through compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements.
- Work in partnership with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.
- Oversee hiring, training, evaluations, and performance management for nursing staff.
- Lead quality improvement efforts, facilitate policy development, and contribute to strategic planning for service line growth.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model, supporting a positive and professional work environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Licensure and
Certifications:
Active RN license issued by the state of California, required at time of hire. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required at time of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required for employees working in Labor & Delivery, NICU, Nursery, or Postpartum.
- For Postpartum:
Must be obtained within 90 days of hire. - For other applicable units:
Must be obtained within 180 days of completing clinical orientation. - California Fire and Life Safety Card from a nationally recognized organization, required within 30 days of hire.
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Previous experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or a procedural care unit is highly desirable.
- National certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (e.g., RCIS, CCRN, CVRN) or Nurse Executive Leadership (NE-BC, NEA-BC).
- Strong understanding of interventional procedures, contrast media, radiation safety, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and implement quality/process improvements.
- Familiarity with EPIC or comparable electronic health record systems.
- Lead high-performing teams in advanced procedural care environments.
