Join us as a Mammography Technologist in our dedicated team delivering quality, value, and access in modern healthcare. You will support patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.
- Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
- Understand and employ compression, exposure modes, filters, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
- Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
- Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency regarding safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard onsite medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
- Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
- Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
- Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems.
- ARRT(R)(M) certification.
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
- BLS certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
