Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Government Subcontract Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Government Subcontract Specialist reports to the Program Manager for Government Contracting, Global Supply Chain and will support the Global Supply Chain Subcontract Management (SCM) Team, Category Management and PLC teams, as needed, with various subcontracting activities. The Government Subcontract Specialist will be the primary interface for Subcontract Management, Category Management and PLC teams with Contracts Compliance for all Government Contracting activities.

What you will be doing…

  • Acts as the primary interface for Subcontract Management, Category Management and PLC teams, as needed, with Contracts Compliance for all Government Contracting activities. Understands FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation)
  • Develops and initiates solicitation packages (RFPs), reviews supplier proposals, and creates proposal analysis files for review and evaluation by SCMs
  • Creates subcontract file package structure and assists Subcontract Managers with preparation of appropriate documentation based on dollar thresholds, contract type, etc., to ensure compliance with requirements, as established by Contracts Compliance
  • Supports in the review of subcontracts for Contracts Compliance approval
  • Provides daily feedback to Subcontract Managers on strategies for execution (process) to meet compliance requirements

What We Are Looking For

Level 1:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain manufacturing supporting the DOD or other Government agency required.
  • High school Diploma required, Bachelor degree preferred.
  • 5% - Domestic/international travel may be required
Level 2:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain manufacturing supporting the DOD or other Government agency required.
  • Bachelor degree in related field required.
  • 5% - Domestic/international travel may be required
