Chassis Design/Development Contingent EngineerResponsibilities include:
- Simulate, design, and validate chassis components using various simulation tools (dynamo meters, rigs and track tests);
- Provide feedback and produce technical reports.
Responsibilities include:
- Engine design concept preparation, component and assembly modeling;
- Design evaluation and analysis;
- Drawing preparation and release;
- Part manufacturing coordination and other related administrative duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting electronic control systems on the race car;
- Validating the control system design and application;
- Optimizing calibration for system algorithms and functions utilizing real-time software.
- Responsible for engine-related electronic control unit, ignition, switches, wiring harness systems, wiring looms and connectors.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating development plans for concepts and component development;
- Looking at the full product life cycle from concept to production;
- Executing the test and validations required to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Engine development and durability testing on the test cell while ensuring that the test cell is ready and capable of meeting requested testing goals and deadlines;
- Programming and operating the test cell/plans, developing engine and instrumentation calibration settings and cell maintenance;
- Review testing methods to determine areas for improvement in accuracy, consistency and processing results.
Responsibilities include:
- Populating and calibrating vehicle model parameters;
- Performing correlation studies: comparing vehicle model behaviors with real-world test data;
- Modelling and characterization of all vehicle systems (e.g., aerodynamics, brakes, multi-body suspensions, tires, powertrains).
