Cyber Ark is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Security team, responsible for the Control Plane Integrations/SDK. In this role, you will help advance our next generation Certificate Lifecycle Management capabilities and shape how global organizations manage and protect their machine identities at scale.

• Contribute to the design and architecture of backend features that enhance the Machine Identity Cloud platform.
• Develop AI‑first SDK, tooling integrations (like terraform, ansible, MCP)
• Develop and maintain high quality backend services for the Machine Identity Security cloud platform using Golang and Java.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power the platform’s frontend and system‑to‑system integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed services within the Machine Identity Security ecosystem.
• Drive continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Participate in a paid on‑call rotation to help ensure platform reliability and a best‑in‑class user experience.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
• Proven experience building modern, scalable backend or distributed systems.
• Experience with AI‑first development.
• Strong proficiency with Golang, Java, Graph
  
  QL, and Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Knowledge of x509, PKI, and certificate issuance protocols is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, high‑performance engineering environment.

The salary range for this position is $155,000 – $194,000/year, plus discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance and equity. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
