** What you'll be doing:

* Developing AI tools to create new and extend existing test strategies to guarantee the highest level of quality from both functional and performance perspectives. Your innovative approach will ensure that Drive

OS meets the standards expected from a world-class product.
* Designing and developing AI-enhanced tools that automate the verification of different software components. Your expertise in developing efficient and reliable automation tools using generative AI will play a crucial role in streamlining our testing processes.
* Collaborating with multiple development, verification, and customer-facing teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of Drive

OS as a product and its real-world applications. Your ability to collaborate effectively is essential for driving continuous improvement.
* Analyzing and root-causing issues down to the code level, leading the defect fixing process, and providing effective fixes and automating this process using generative AI. Your strong problem-solving skills will allow you to address challenges with efficiency and precision.
** What we need to see:
** To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Your educational background will provide you with the foundation necessary to succeed in this technical role.
* 4+ years of relevant work experience in software development. Your consistent track record in developing large-scale, logical code from scratch in Python or C++ will be instrumental in driving our automation efforts.
* Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining pipelines that leverage generative AI.
* Extensive experience in using AI assistants and coding assistants for problem analysis and problems solving as well as to improve coding efficiency and correctness.
* Demonstrated experience working with embedded systems, especially networking (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth) or image processing pipelines. Your familiarity with these technologies will help you to adapt quickly to the unique requirements of our automotive platform.
* Proficiency in Linux environments. Your versatility in working with Linux and Unix-like systems will be critical for ensuring compatibility and seamless integration.
* Experience using source control systems such as Git and Perforce as well as CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins. Your knowledge of these tools will facilitate efficient teamwork and version control.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You will need to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve shared goals.
* Very strong analytical skills. Your keen eye for detail and ability to analyze complex issues will enable you to identify and resolve potential challenges proactively.
** Ways to stand out from the crowd:
*** Experience working with requirements and task management systems like Jama, Doors or Jira.
* Background with developing solutions in cloud-based, and containerized environments (e.g. Kubernetes).
* Experience in security standards for IT tools and roles- and access-management.
* Experience in testing safety-relevant systems following the ISO
26262 recommendations, especially for the hardware-software-interface

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
