About the Role
As a CBRE HVAC, Refrigeration Hybrid Mobile Technician, you will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems and perform general building maintenance including light electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry at multiple locations and across various building types.
This job is related to the Engineering and Technical Services function. You will provide preventive maintenance and repairs on building equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
CBRE provides equipment and tools required for the role, including a company van, gas card, tablet, phone, uniforms, boot allowance, and all necessary tools.
This role does NOT have required on‑call or overtime duties, though overtime is often available if desired.
What You’ll Do- Conduct inspections and ongoing maintenance on building HVAC/R equipment, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
- Diagnose equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications, repairs, and maintenance records.
- Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
- Share in‑depth knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration systems and related facilities maintenance topics.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE’s culture.
- Explain technical information to team members and clients in a clear, professional manner.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school certification with 4–5 years of job‑related experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Universal EPA or CFC Certification with hands‑on refrigeration experience.
- Basic knowledge of light carpentry, electrical, and plumbing (hybrid role).
- Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Strong organizational skills and an advanced‑inquisitive mentality capable of analyzing and solving complex problems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to perform basic calculations (percentages, fractions, etc.).

Minimum salary for this position is $42.00 per hour; maximum is $49.00 per hour. Compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience.
