As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a high-visibility presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication.

You will document observations, use basic computer or tablet tools for reporting, and respond to situations with teamwork and integrity as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, monitoring for unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.

+ Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing deliveries to approved docks and staging areas per site policy.

+ Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations during shift turnover, and assist with monitoring alarms, gates, and CCTV systems as assigned.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of security experience.

+ Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
