Account Manager (HSIO Connectors)
LocationSanta Clara, CA
SummaryThe Account Manager will focus on customer advocacy, serving as the voice of the customer within Amphenol and representing Amphenol to the customer. The role requires excellent verbal and written English skills, a team‑player attitude, and the ability to thrive in a pressured, detail‑oriented environment. Performance will be measured based on established annual objectives and stakeholder feedback.
Responsibilities- Know your customers and their projects/products, understanding their critical demands and business environment.
- Support customer activities, resolving delivery, quality, inventory, and demand issues in an international, time‑sensitive environment.
- Handle requests from different stakeholders (sales, customers, ODM/CMs, production team) with a data‑driven and analytical approach.
- Prepare monthly forecast for key accounts and provide forecast analysis.
- Collaborate with sales and product managers on RFQ negotiations, participating in live negotiations to maximize market share and margins.
- Identify customer market opportunities and develop market share objectives, working with sales, product management, and operations to achieve those objectives and resolve shortfalls.
- Create presentations for top management.
- Travel as required by business need, up to 25%.
- BS Degree in Marketing, Business, or related area.
- 3+ years of experience in Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Planning or Finance.
- 1+ years of experience working in an electronic components manufacturing environment.
- Advanced PC skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, including V‑lookups, Pivot Tables, and other advanced Excel features.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%.
The base salary range for this position is $68,320 – $104,400 annually, based on geographic location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and education. The total rewards package includes medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long‑term disability, and a matching 401K.
