Amphenol High Speed and Commercial Products Groups are market leaders in high-speed, high‑bandwidth electrical connectors for Telecom/Datacom and diverse markets (mobile networks, storage, servers, routers, switches, etc.). We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Tier 2 & Tier 3 Accounts to support our Tier 2 / Tier 3 accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth and design‑win activities within a customer‑defined region made up of Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts.
  • Lead and develop Spinner sales team, manage direct and indirect sales channels, and work closely with customers, Field Applications Engineers, and internal product teams to deliver innovative interconnect solutions.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with global objectives and ensure achievement of sales budgets.
  • Manage selling expenses, including headcount, travel, and regional costs, while maintaining accurate monthly forecasts and latest estimates.
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor sales team members to improve performance; analyze and coaching the team to achieve individual and regional goals.
  • Create account plans for Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers and ensure adequate coverage within budget.
  • Identify and develop new accounts consistent with company objectives.
  • Promote and sell Amphenol products to established customers and new prospects.
  • Drive design‑win activities by working with customer engineering teams to integrate Amphenol solutions.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Engineers, Field Applications Engineers, and Business Units to support technical aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Build strong relationships with management teams at strategic accounts.
  • Track orders, revenue, and design‑win progress by account.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Keep informed of new products and industry developments.
  • Travel to customers in the Bay Area, manufacturing facilities globally, and various other customer office locations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business.
  • 5+ years of sales and marketing experience in the electronics industry Bastide with interconnect solutions.
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience, managing a team of Sales professionals in a fast‑paced environment, ideally within technical component‑level sales.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and participating in high‑performing formal and informal cross‑functional teams on a regional and global basis.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage regional objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across engineering and managerial functions.
  • Technical aptitude to understand interconnect solutions and customer design challenges.
  • Proven ability to negotiate design wins, contracts, and strategic partnerships.
  • Self‑motivated with strong analytical and business skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD tools (Pro E or Solid Works) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this position is $117,734 – $187,300 USD annually. In determining the rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, and matching 401(k).

Our Regional Sales Managersiddel are also eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus program and are provided with a company vehicle.
