The Food Runner delivers food orders from the kitchen to service staff, supporting front-of-house operations and ensuring smooth workflow between kitchen and dining staff. This role works closely with kitchen and service teams to provide excellent guest service with warmth and care.
Responsibilities- Promptly deliver food orders from the kitchen/expo line to service staff in the appropriate dining area.
- Navigate stairs safely and efficiently when carrying dishware and glassware; may include trays.
- Follow all food service safety precautions and procedures.
- No experience necessary.
- Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
- Possess a passion for hospitality, a professional demeanor, and an ability to work well in a team setting.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to climb and descend three flights of stairs (approximately 30 stairs) frequently throughout an 8-hour shift.
