Position Title

CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)

Irvine Properties – 2515 Augustine Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054

Full‑time: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm weekdays; biweekly event shifts until 7:00 pm. Availability for additional event shifts during the week is required.

$23.00 – $25.00 per hour

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Responsible for the accurate execution of all events during a shift, which may include driving a catering delivery truck, setting up and serving at functions, cleaning the event area during and after events, and returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations.
• Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean location after the event is completed.
• Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean, and maintain catering facility and equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.
• At least one year of previous catering experience.
