Senior Product Marketing Manager, FlashArray X​/XL

Overview

Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to be the lead product marketer for key members in our Flash Array family of products, including Flash Array//X and Flash Array//XL. You will own the core messaging and positioning for Flash Array//X and Flash Array//XL, create core content to support product launches and ongoing go-to-market efforts, and become the subject matter expert for Flash Array//X and Flash Array//XL within marketing.

You will work closely with Product Management, marketing, and sales teams to execute the marketing and positioning of both Flash Array//X and Flash Array//XL within the broader Flash Array family and the Pure Storage Platform. This role requires a passion for storytelling of technical products, a deep understanding of product positioning and messaging, strong writing and content creation skills, and exceptional collaboration abilities.

• Messaging and Positioning - Develop and own the core messaging and positioning for Flash Array//X and Flash Array//XL within the broader Flash Array product portfolio.
• Product Ownership - Act as the product marketing owner and champion for these products. Drive promotion across marketing and sales. Fully plan and support the execution of the GTM strategy to ensure success in marketing and sales metrics.
• Subject Matter Expertise and Content Development - Become the SME for your product. Develop and own core content required for launches and GTMs across different teams and sales motions. Support content development through sales, enablement, technical evangelism, corporate communications, and other collaborative teams.
• Leadership and Collaboration - Provide leadership by example and develop a strong collaborative capability within the Product Marketing team and beyond.
• Advocate - Be an energetic advocate and spokesperson for Pure Storage and Flash Array//X and Flash Array//XL both internally and externally.

• Exceptionally Strong Messaging, Storytelling, and Content Creation Skills - Track record in core product marketing, including messaging and positioning, translating technical benefits to customer benefits, and creating core content such as presentations, whitepapers, FAQs, and web copy.
• Deep Experience in Product Marketing - History of owning, launching, and marketing technology products, preferably to Enterprise IT customers.
• Domain Expertise - Deep understanding of Enterprise infrastructure products, with bonus for experience in structured (Block) data storage. Must have strong technical depth and ability to learn quickly, balanced with business sense.
• Collaboration and Influencing Skills - Executive presence and credibility with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal partners (product management and sales) to align product messaging from creation to customer sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred) and 12+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or solutions marketing.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

We are primarily an in-office environment and you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. The base salary range is reflective of the labor market across applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity. The annual base salary range is: $176,000 — $265,000 USD.
