Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Our client, a leading provider in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Megasys Technician to join their team. As a Megasys Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Gas & Chemical Systems team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Megasys Technician
Location:Santa Clara, CA
Pay Range:$28-$32hr
Shift:Support for a compressed shift schedule (7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:30 am), with initial training Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm for the first 2-3 months.
What's the Job?- Support and lead the technical demands of gas, chemical, and slurry equipment across multiple facilities.
- Ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and safety protocols.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on complex gas and chemical systems.
- Assist in installing, decommissioning, and supporting the operation of various gas and chemical delivery systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support quality management initiatives.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience or familiarity with maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, or mechanical/electronic environments is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs, climbing ladders, and working with PPE.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and good communication skills.
