Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Data Center Lab Technician to join our night shift team. You will work directly with cutting-edge server hardware and development platforms — assembling systems, performing hardware validation, running diagnostics, and keeping our lab environment running at peak efficiency. If you thrive in a structured, technical, and detail-oriented environment, this is your role.
Responsibilities- Assemble, build, and install benchtop development platforms and large-scale server systems
- Prepare circuit boards for detailed solder reworks to be completed by a specialized lab team
- Connect oscilloscope probes to boards and accurately collect signal waveform data
- Perform mechanical reworks using power tools including Dremel and related instruments
- Execute system tests; collect, document, and report on results — including module and board screening as part of validation and debug cycles
- Support lab shipping and receiving logistics; manage inventory of equipment, components, and materials
- Maintain and organize lab equipment for operational efficiency and proactively identify process improvements
- Diploma, Certification, Associate`s, or Bachelor`s Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an electronics or testing lab covering silicon bring-up, board-level design, validation, or system design, validation
- Fundamental knowledge of computing architectures with relevant hardware and software debug experience
- Proficiency in Linux command line operation
- Solid system-level debugging experience with familiarity in board bring-up and customer support workflows
- Strong attention to detail with clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with BMC and server management processors
- Basic networking knowledge and server maintenance skills
- Ability to perform simple solder reworks competently
- Experience with oscilloscope-based signal measurement and reading schematics
- Familiarity with x86, ARM architectures and accelerated GPU computing environments
