We are searching for the best talent for IT Operations Intern to be in Santa Clara, CA.

  • The Intern term is from June to August, 2026.
  • Full time requirement (40 hours per week).
Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated IT Operations Intern to support our security engineering and IT operations teams. This role provides hands‑on cloud and infrastructure operations, and automation. The intern will work under supervision, contribute to operational tasks and security projects, and gain practical experience with industry tools and processes.

You will be responsible:
  • Collaborate with IT Operations and IT Security on best practices for operational and security work.
  • Exposure to incident response activities: evidence collection, initial analysis, and documentation.
  • Help maintain and apply patches, and updates across endpoints and servers.
  • Support identity and access management tasks (user provisioning, MFA troubleshooting, least‑privilege reviews).
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Power Shell, Bash) for repetitive operational tasks.
  • Update and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and security documentation.
  • Participate in routine audits, compliance checks, and change management activities.
  • Collaborate with IT, development, and security teams on projects and improvements.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related information technology, or related fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common security concepts (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python, Power Shell, or Bash).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to document technical findings clearly.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow security policies.

Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long‑term status that does not require company sponsorship.

The expected pay range for this position is between $26.50 per hour and $59.00 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co‑Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co‑Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year;

for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co‑Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
