Backed by NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, Cisco, AWS, Google Cloud, and others, Cohesity is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, with offices around the globe.

Want to join the leader in AI‑powered data security?

The Sales Enablement team builds programs, content, and tools that help sellers show up prepared, confident, and consistent in every customer conversation. Increasingly, this work is powered by AI‑driven assistants and Copilot agents that help the field find the right information faster, generate customer‑safe outputs, and reduce time spent searching or synthesizing content.

As a Sales Enablement Intern‑AI, you will help the Enablement team design, test, improve, and operationalize AI‑powered enablement tools, with a focus on seller productivity, adoption, and trust. You’ll work at the intersection of enablement strategy, AI tooling, and real field workflows.

How you’ll spend your time here:
  • AI agent support & iteration: Assist in testing, refining, and improving Copilot‑based enablement agents (e.g., Ask Sales–style agents) to ensure outputs are accurate, concise, and field‑safe.
  • Prompt & instruction design: Help draft and refine agent instructions, prompt patterns, and guardrails that produce consistent, customer‑appropriate outputs aligned to enablement goals.
  • Use‑case discovery: Partner with Enablement stakeholders to identify high‑value AI use cases (e.g., competitive prep, discovery questions, enablement content discovery, proof‑of‑value framing).
  • Adoption & feedback analysis: Analyze usage patterns, qualitative feedback, and common failure modes to recommend improvements that increase trust and adoption of AI tools in the field.
  • Enablement integration: Support how AI tools are introduced through enablement channels (e.g., enablement sessions, short demos, or quick‑start guidance) so sellers understand when and how to use them effectively.
  • Documentation & best practices: Help document AI usage guidelines, examples, and “what good looks like” patterns that scale AI adoption responsibly across the field.
Example projects
  • Test and refine an enablement Copilot agent to improve brevity, clarity, and customer‑safe summaries for sales conversations.
  • Create a small library of high‑impact prompts aligned to common seller workflows (competitive prep, discovery, recap, follow‑up).
  • Analyze AI agent usage trends and summarize what sellers use most, where they struggle, and what to improve next.
We’d love to talk to you if you have many of the following:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Human‑Computer Interaction, or a related field with a graduation date no earlier than Dec 2026.
  • Strong interest in applied AI, generative AI, and agent‑based workflows (experience through coursework or projects is sufficient).
  • Ability to think critically about output quality, trust, and usability, not just technical capability.
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort explaining AI concepts to non‑technical audiences.
We are extra excited if you have any of the following:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, or similar enterprise AI tools.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, conversational design, or AI UX patterns.
  • Interest in sales, enablement, or go‑to‑market workflows in enterprise software.
  • Basic understanding of data governance, access control, or responsible AI concepts.
What success looks like
  • Enablement AI tools produce clearer, more consistent, and more trusted outputs for sellers.
  • Sellers better understand when to use AI vs. traditional enablement content, improving productivity and confidence.
  • Enablement leaders have actionable insights on which AI use cases to scale next.
