WhatYou Will Do
As the PR/Communications Specialist , you will act as the architect of Eightfold’s media engine. Develop compelling stories that showcase Eightfold.ai software and models across the AI and HR Technology sectors. Pitch stories and collaborate with reporters to secure impactful press coverage. You will lead the PR and media relations function by blending traditional PR grit with AI-augmented workflows to make sure Eightfold gets heard.
- AI-Powered Media Relations:
Act as the primary practitioner, using AI tools to identify hyper-relevant journalists and predict trending narratives before they peak. - AI-powered Press releases:
Leverage generative tools to write and execute press releases that go beyond the standard fare and go to the top of a reporter’s stack. - Precision Storytelling:
Secure impactful coverage by using LLMs to draft, iterate, and A/B test pitch angles, ensuring every outreach is personalized and data-backed. - Narrative Synthesis:
Translate complex AI and HR tech concepts into compelling thought leadership. Partner with executives to refine AI-generated drafts into high-signal, human-centric points of view. - Intelligent News Direction:
Monitor the global media landscape using sentiment analysis and AI-driven monitoring tools to pivot strategies in real-time. - Cross-Functional Integration:
Collaborate with digital and social teams to ensure a unified brand voice across all automated and manual channels. - Partnerships:
Orchestrate key partnerships and media opportunities for Eightfold execs and thought leaders. - Awards:
Audit the ecosystem of awards to pursue the awards that position Eightfold as the AI leader of the talent/HR world. Set up exec interviews and chase awards to cement Eightfold as the AI leader in HR. - Communications:
Translate complex AI stuff into thought leadership, working closely with execs. Coordinate with the digital and social media teams for a unified brand voice. - Campaign Activation:
Help launch campaigns for Eightfold's new Agentic AI products, positioning it as the enterprise standard for AI-led hiring. - Social & Growth Hacking:
Use content to drive follower growth—call out outdated "Legacy Traps." - Visual Direction:
Work with AI tools to create high-impact visuals. - Market Disruption:
Draft press releases and media pitches that position Eightfold as "Talent System of Action."
- Orchestrate the Narrative:
Shift from doing the work to orchestrating it, leveraging AI to create bold, visionary content. - AI is your Co-Pilot:
Find the perfect journalists, write press releases that actually get read, test pitch angles (A/B testing for comms!), and monitor news in real-time to pivot your strategy.
- You are a Modern Communicator, meaning you don’t just see the headlines; you understand the algorithmic shifts that drive them.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years of PR/Communications experience at solid tech companies and/or agencies.
