Position: Help Desk with Security Clearance

Responsibilities
  • Respond to complicated and moderate user questions on various software packages and local area network issues.
  • Suggest and initiate improvements in computer help desk processes and operations.
  • Work with information resources staff to share computer user issues and concerns to ensure proactive resolution of information resources issues.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and direction to other technical help desk technicians with complicated user questions or requests.
  • Assist in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of lower‑level employees.
  • Perform various administrative duties using a variety of software packages.
  • Provide technical assistance under the supervision of a team leader to computer operations staff and the user community as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph.
  • United States citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, math, or business discipline from an accredited college or university (or four years of related experience).
  • Experience supporting help desk activities, including responding to complex user questions and escalating complex issues.
  • Knowledge of supported computer software and local area network operations.

Pay Range: $ – $ per hour. Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications; and geographic location.
