Job Title: SOFTWARE QA ENGINEER 3

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 4+Months contract (Possibility of extensions)

Job Description:

• Performance enhancements to database table generation
• Bug fixes for plug-in feature issues and enhancements
• Improvements to export and formatting of table data from JIRA (HTML, Text, and Excel formats)
• Enhancements to web page displays under management and control by JIRA
• Generation of additional data content from the SQL database within JIRA

This position will require the individual to get quickly familiar with our custom JIRA plug-in and its interaction with the database for storage and retrieval of information. The UI robustness for this plug-in is critical as is the performance of the data entry/retrieval into the interactive HTML form. This is used by many users of varying skill sets. The current performance needs to be improved due to slow response time.

We need an individual with the right experience to quickly understand the use model and the technical aspects of this plugin implementation. The ability to communicate clearly with the users of this tool is valuable.
