Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Security Development and QA teams
• Develop solutions to complex problems.
• Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives, without appreciable direction.
• Offer proposed changes/suggestions to processes and products, exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of an assignment.
• Collaborate well with other engineers and other engineering groups, voluntarily shares information.
• Significant contributor to organizational goals and objectives.
• Interact cross-functionally on matters that require coordination across organizational lines.
• Sphere of influence likely to extend outside of the organization.
• Have a high level of proficiency in all necessary processes, applications, and tools.
• Demonstrate knowledge of project management, able to identify the business impact of proposed projects and designs.
• Demonstrate skill with development of new theories and methods related to testing.
• Have the ability to lead people, projects, and operations.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration across work groups and with other organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, able to mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

• Programming skills. Any scripting language such as Perl/Python/Ruby
• Possesses strong storage product/technology/industry knowledge.
• Understanding of High Availability technology
• Understanding & experience with Security technology
• Excellent at QA methodology and testing complicated products.
• Proficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments.
• Masters in Computer Science Preferred
• 5+ years of hands on experience required
