Principle Engineer

This position involves working closely with the US team and the Client’s China team. The responsibilities include:

• Understanding ideal performance metrics in cloud platform and ecosystem.
• Designing cloud service architecture and maintaining industry competitiveness.
• Building cloud platform performance analysis capabilities for operation and maintenance.
• Driving technological innovation and collaborating with industry performance organizations.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with large-scale cloud service providers (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• 8 years’ experience in cloud platform software design and architecture planning in Internet/IT fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JAVA, Python, and SCALA.
• Familiarity with big data data modeling, algorithms, streaming tasks, and platforms like HADOOP, Spark, Storm.
• Extensive experience in real-time performance design, implementation, and operations management.
• Solid understanding of server virtualization, public cloud, and enterprise cloud.
• Experience in expanding performance development and building competitive advantages in virtualization/cloud fields.
• Proficiency with OPENSTACK system framework and extension mechanisms, including Nova, Cinder, etc.
• Over 2 years of OPENSTACK work experience, including system design and performance tuning. Experience with mass-scale cloud system development is preferred.
• MS or higher degree in computer science or related field.

• Development experience with JAVA Spring MVC, IBATIS framework, etc.
• Experience with HBASE, HDFS, Hive, and streaming data handling.
• Experience with log systems like ELK, SOLR, SPLUNK.
• Experience with OS virtualization and containerization technologies is a plus.
• Experience working in distributed team environments is a plus.
