Systems Engineering Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Systems Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA
. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing data center and lab infrastructure to support high-volume testing and development workflows.

Note:
This is a 2nd Shift - 2pm to 11pm PST

Rate Range: $61/hour to $64/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Maintain and optimize data center and lab infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency for high-volume testing environments.
• Assist in installation, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software components across Windows/Linux platforms.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on servers, networking equipment, and test boards to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement new technologies, resolve technical issues, and support development workflows.
• Manage lab organization and safety standards, including documentation of maintenance activities and system configurations.
• Monitor and support Dev Ops pipelines, handling break‑fix scenarios and ensuring smooth execution of automated tests.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience in lab/datacenter environments.
• Proficiency in DCIM tools (e.g., Nautobot) and scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ansible.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows/Linux platforms, hardware components (PCBs, GPUs), and system deployments.

Pay Details: $61.00 to $64.00 per hour
