Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to handle project-based IT work involving a broad range of IT equipment, including network devices, servers, terminals, personal computers, cabling, and related software products.

The role involves providing advanced, hands-on technical support as an escalation from the Service Desk, communicating and escalating incidents and requests, logging and tracking these issues, and investigating hardware problems. The specialist will perform minor hardware repairs and communication connection repairs.

Additional responsibilities include acting as a facility lead on technical project implementations, coordinating infrastructure needs for new construction or relocations, and participating in meetings and ongoing education to improve performance. The role also involves user training, mentoring team members, participating in project planning and budgeting, and ensuring adherence to GTS standards, policies, and procedures.

    Windows 10 and Windows 11, SCCM, Autopilot, Microsoft 365 Suite, Jabber, Citrix, Network (wireless and wired), HP laptops, docking stations

  • Must possess an executive presence and excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels from associates to executives.
  • Broad knowledge of technology solutions and proactive resource and workload management.
  • Strong analytical, customer service, and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to provide onsite support on projects and drive to various sites as needed.
