Data Scientist

Job Description

The Data Scientist will join the Machine Learning team to support a wide range of data‑driven initiatives across networking, security, and language‑related use cases. This role involves working with cross‑functional teams to uncover insights, solve complex problems, and deploy scalable machine learning solutions.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and use visualization techniques to communicate insights.
• Ingest, clean, preprocess, and transform data for modeling; handle missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies.
• Label datasets for classification tasks and prepare data pipelines.
• Build, train, and evaluate machine learning models including CNNs, XGBoost, Transformers, Graph ML, Time Series models, and LLMs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models using formats such as ONNX and GGUF; apply model quantization and evaluation techniques.
• Solve complex data challenges using critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and domain experts to translate business needs into actionable insights.
• Salary Range - $225,000-$300,000

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Num Py, Matplotlib
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Logic into code
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
• Experience with NLP and large language models (LLMs) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Go programming language.
• Familiarity with acceleration frameworks such as RAPIDS or Spark.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with data version control and MLOps practices.
