Overview

Principal PMT- ES, AWS Security Services (S2) role at Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS Security Services is redefining how enterprises protect cloud-based applications and services. We are innovating in cloud security with services like Amazon Guard Duty, Amazon Security Hub, Amazon Inspector, and Amazon Security Lake. We are seeking an experienced senior product manager to own innovative new products that help customers protect workloads and services on AWS.

• Define strategy and product vision through feature definition, roadmap prioritization, positioning, naming, GTM/adoption, and financial metrics.
• Interact with customers (including senior executives) and coordinate with engineering, product leaders, and external partners to drive delivery of security services.
• Translate ambiguous customer needs into disruptive, successful products that delight customers and drive usage.
• Lead the definition of new capabilities through well-crafted business requirements documents.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, sales, marketing, and business development to execute strategic initiatives.
• Own product reliability issues and influence pricing and packaging decisions for external services.

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 5+ years of technical experience (software development, network development, IT, or related).
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products with end-to-end lifecycle ownership, including GTM.

• Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or PhD.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (preferably AWS), databases (SQL and No
  
  SQL), AI tools, open-source projects, and version control systems.
• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies.
• Experience with open-source technologies like Linux, Spring, or React.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA).
• Experience with AI/ML technologies.
