Manager, Legal Solutions and Strategy at Coherent Corp.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Manage legal technology and workflows, including user management, training, process flows and data stewardship (RFP, e‑Billing, CLM, legal hold platforms).
- Support design, deployment and implementation of new technology solutions.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, bias toward AI and automation for repeatable tasks, identify opportunities to simplify and increase speed.
- Oversee budgeting, spend management and resource planning; main point of contact for Finance team.
- Manage e‑billing platform, invoice processing, accruals, enforce billing guidelines for outside counsel, and vendor relationships.
- Support contract management lifecycle processes, CLM contract intake, execution and repository.
- Drive knowledge management, SharePoint team site oversight, dashboards, KPIs, metrics and reporting.
- BA or BS degree required.
- 5‑8 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of legal industry tools and technology (e‑billing, matter management, CLM).
- Project management experience, technology and systems implementation a plus.
- Prior experience in AI, semiconductor, manufacturing industry a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong written communication.
- Comfort with legal tech and AI tools, automation mindset.
- Problem‑solving, analytical, multitasking, project management in fast‑paced environments.
- Professionalism, discretion with sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in global, multicultural team.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, organized, curious, resourceful.
Full‑time, core business hours hybrid with 3‑4 days in Coherent office; extended hours and travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
Physical RequirementsRegular talking or hearing; sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Safety RequirementsFollow site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
