Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP GTS Consultant to join a global leader in technology and innovation based in Santa Clara, CA. This role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, project management, and SAP GTS configurations, with a focus on Sales and Distribution (SD) and Global Trade Services (GTS). The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, lead a team of GTS consultants, and drive technical execution.



Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) projects, including Sales and Distribution (SD) configurations.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into functional and technical specifications.
• Lead the design and implementation of enhancements for continuous improvement projects in GTS.
• Manage compliance controls like Sanctioned Party Lists, Embargo, and Legal Control, along with Customs Management.
• Execute project sizing, estimation, and budget assessment for SAP projects.
• Configure and optimize SAP GTS customs Declaration documents and associated forms.
• Integrate US Automated Export System (AES) filings using GTS and Broker Interface.
• Conduct system configuration and enhancements in SD Billing, Pricing, and billing copy control.
• Perform testing, integration, and change promotion to Production, following best practices.
• Provide project leadership and technical guidance to the GTS team.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8-10 years of SAP configuration experience in Sales and Distribution (SD) and Global Trade Services (GTS).
• Proven experience with 2-3 full life cycle implementations of SAP GTS.
• Project Management experience, including multiple project executions and budget assessments.
• Deep understanding of Compliance Management and Customs Management within SAP ERP.
• Knowledge of GTS customs Declaration documents and AES filings.
• Familiarity with SD Billing, Pricing, and copy control configurations.
• Ability to manage technical intake processes and evaluate impact and feasibility.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced organizational skills and the ability to drive deliverables to completion.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Broker Interface for export documentation.
• Advanced skills in continuous improvement projects for SAP GTS.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools such as JIRA, Service Now, or Rally.
