Druva is seeking an experienced and driven Vice President of Finance to lead strategic financial management, which is crucial for driving financial excellence and operational discipline within our growing SaaS business. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Vice President of Finance will oversee both corporate finance activities and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). This role will be instrumental in shaping the company's financial strategy, measuring performance, and long‑term planning across all business functions.
The Vice President of Finance will guide the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure financial accountability, and provide strategic recommendations to promote growth and profitability. As a key steward of financial performance, the VP of Finance will also lead improvements in financial infrastructure, support communications with the board, and help shape the future of the business through data-driven insights.
What You Will Do- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with Druva’s vision and ambitious growth objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and forecasting.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze financial results, and provide insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and presentations to the executive team and the Board of Directors.
- Oversee treasury management, optimize cash flow through effective management of working capital, debt, and liquidity.
- Monitor and manage relationships with financial institutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales) to provide financial expertise and support strategic decision‑making.
- Partner with Go‑To‑Market (GTM) leaders and EStaff to develop and optimize sales compensation plans aligned with business goals, growth targets, and cost efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
- Lead capital structure planning, including debt, equity, and other financing strategies to support growth and liquidity.
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, providing rigorous financial modeling, recommendations, valuation, due diligence, and integration planning.
- Participate in presentations and meetings with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and updates.
- Scale financial systems and processes with a focus on automation and AI‑driven insights.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting standards.
- Lead, inspire, and grow a high‑performing global Finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within a high‑growth SaaS or software company.
- Proven track record of owning and scaling FP&A and Corporate Finance functions.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue recognition, pipeline forecasting, and operational KPIs (e.g., ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.).
