Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a Contract role with a client in Santa Clara, CA
. The ideal candidate will support prototype builds, pilot production runs, equipment setup, validation tasks, and early‑stage troubleshooting for new product introduction (NPI) activities.
Rate Range: $22/hour to $30/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and engineering trials for new product introduction.
- Assist with equipment setup, tooling changes, and process adjustments for early‑stage product runs.
- Execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation tasks under engineering supervision.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation system issues.
- Support equipment calibration, setup, and line changeover activities.
- Document trial results, deviations, equipment issues, and process observations accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams during product transfers.
- Assist with ECO (Engineering Change Order) implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve early‑stage process/equipment issues during NPI runs.
- 2–4 years of experience as a technician in manufacturing, preferably in medical devices or regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations, manufacturing processes, and documentation requirements.
- Ability to read and follow complex written procedures and engineering instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize activities, and communicate effectively in English.
- Experience working in cross‑functional engineering and production teams.
- Bachelor’s degree not required; technical certification or relevant training is preferred.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
