Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

* Fabricate, install, and weld high‑purity piping systems using stainless steel, PVDF, PP, PTFE, and other specialty materials (including orbital and manual welding where certified).

* Assemble and validate process piping for UPW, chemicals, gas distribution, CDA, nitrogen, and vacuum systems, including pressure testing and helium leak detection.

* Troubleshoot issues related to flow, pressure, contamination, and mechanical integrity within high‑purity and specialty piping systems.

* Follow semiconductor cleanroom protocols and safety requirements, including hazardous gas and chemical handling, LOTO procedures, and collaboration with EHS to maintain OSHA, SEMI, and site-specific compliance.

Requirements:

* Experience with high‑purity piping systems.

* Proficiency with tube benders, weld heads, facing tools, and orbital welders.

* Ability to interpret technical diagrams such as P&IDs and schematics.

* Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferences:

* Certifications in high‑purity welding or orbital welding.

* Experience in semiconductor fabrication environments.

* Training in hazardous materials handling and cleanroom contamination control.

Physical Effort/

Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
