Field Service Technician at AESC US

AESC is looking to add a Field Service Technician to our team in remotely.

• Full-Time
• Remote

• Serve as the on‑site representative during equipment installation and commissioning.
• Perform installation verification checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate and execute site commissioning activities for energy storage systems, including functional testing and troubleshooting.
• Interface with project managers, engineering teams, and customer representatives to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Document installation and commissioning activities, including test results and punch lists.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all field operations.
• Provide feedback to engineering and product teams on field performance and installation best practices.
• Support training for customer personnel on system operation and maintenance.

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in field service, commissioning, or installation of electrical or energy systems; experience with energy storage systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and industrial safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and commissioning software.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in fast‑paced environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on‑site at customer locations.

• Familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and renewable energy technologies.
• Experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of commissioning procedures for large‑scale electrical equipment.
