This position is with Keysight’s Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) organization. We design and manufacture laser interferometry systems, precision optical components, monolithic optics (CMOs), and advanced electronic test & measurement solutions. Our systems offer high precision in a wide dynamic range, the ability to simultaneously measure positions with multiple degrees of freedom, and the highest accuracy available in both air and vacuum environments.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is an exciting opportunity for anyone that enjoys mechanical engineering, optics, and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. Primary responsibility is to operate continuous polishing equipment and support optical manufacturing processes around continuous polishing. Responsibilities will include precision surfacing/polishing process design and documentation, interfacing with production and engineering teams, defining necessary tooling for manufacturing, and live support of manufacturing processes. Clear communication through documentation and careful working method are a necessity.
QualificationsEssential:
- BS or MS in Engineering:
Mechanical, Optical, or Manufacturing - OR 15+ years of experience in optical manufacturing
- Depth knowledge of continuous polishing processes
- Ability to work with other teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Desired:
- Depth knowledge of optics
- Siemens NX or comparable 3D modeling
- ME10 or comparable 2D drafting
- GD&T drafting standards

Pay is based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
California pay range: MIN $110,660 - MAX $184,430
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
