Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Design Verification Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the verification of high Speed interface controllers, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute test plans for USB controller IPs (USB
3.2 Gen 2x2, eUSB2V2, USB 2.0). - Build and maintain UVM‑based verification environments for block and system‑level DV.
- Perform functional coverage analysis
, debug failures, and drive closure of verification metrics. - Collaborate with architecture, design, and firmware teams to ensure comprehensive verification.
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
- 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in digital design verification
, preferably in USB or high‑speed serial. - Strong expertise in System Verilog
, UVM
, and scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL). - Experience with simulation tools (VCS, Questa, Incisive) and debugging tools (Verdi, DVE).
- Familiarity with USB protocols
, including USB
3.x, USB
2.0, and Type‑C. - Exposure to Synopsys VIPs/IP integration and Qualcomm DV flows is a plus.
Skills:
- Knowledge of low‑power verification
, clock domain crossing
, and assertion‑based verification
. - Experience with formal verification and coverage‑driven methodologies
. - Strong analytical and communication skills with a proactive attitude.
