Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $45 - $60/hr on W2 DOE

OverviewSeeking a motivated and detail-oriented System Engineer to join our Single Molecule Sequencing team. In this role, you’ll become an expert on our next-generation sequencing platform, helping to design, execute, and analyze experiments that advance system robustness and performance. You’ll collaborate across biochemistry, electrochemistry, and materials science to drive innovation in microfluidic device design and sequencing workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain client’s High Throughput Sequencing Platform.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate microfluidic device surfaces, processes, and system parameters.
- Analyze sequencing and process data; identify and present actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and debug device, instrument, and software issues.
- Apply statistical and experimental design methods (DOE, process control, data analytics).
- Maintain accurate experimental records and prepare technical reports.
- BS in Bioengineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or related field with background in biochemistry or materials science.
- 0–5 years industry experience (2+ preferred).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and experimental design skills.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (JMP, Python) preferred.
- Familiarity with DNA manipulation or sequencing methods a plus.
