Construction Project Engineer

Overview

Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to join our Project Management team. As a member of the Project Management department, this individual will report directly to a Project Executive. JJA is known for a dynamic, growth-oriented environment with opportunities to advance professionally.

• Coordinates project activities and tracks materials.
• Oversees and monitors production in conjunction with Foreman and Superintendent.
• Updates project schedules and assists with job meetings.
• Reviews submittals, prepares contract documents, and maintains contract files.
• Drafts purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Ensures accuracy and timeliness of timecard processing.
• Submits subcontractor invoices and requests for payment.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, HCSS, and scheduling software.
• Valid CA driver license.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, team player, and attention to detail.
