Overview
St. Justin School is seeking a caring and dedicated long-term substitute teacher for Middle School Math to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience teaching Middle School grades and a passion for creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities- Developing and implementing lesson plans that support student growth and learning
- Grading student work and posting grades in Educate
- Communicating regularly with families through weekly newsletters
- Collaborating with colleagues and supporting the school’s mission and values
- Experience teaching Middle School
- Valid teaching credential (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills

SalarySalary Range:
Substitute compensation is consistent across all schools (see chart of daily rates)
- Short-Term daily rate
- Full Day: DSJ-retired teacher — $250
- Full Day: all others — $225
- Minimum Day: DSJ-retired teacher — $167
- Minimum Day: all others — $150
- Long-Term daily rate
- Full Day: DSJ-retired teacher — $300
- Full Day: all others — (not specified)
- Minimum Day: DSJ-retired teacher — $200
- Minimum Day: all others — (not specified)
