About the Role
As a Mandarin Elementary After School Teacher at Stratford School, you will work as part of a team to develop a plan of instruction appropriate for the elementary students in our after school immersion program. The emphasis will be on vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This person must be professionally prepared to teach Mandarin to young children.
You will also
Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum for the campus after school program
Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
Provide administrative support
Float between classrooms to provide teaching support
Monitor and assess student progress
Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Two years of prior classroom experience in an elementary setting
Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
