JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Procurement Project Manager is responsible for leading procurement operations across multiple business functions. This role manages cross-functional projects, procurement performance reviews, supplier events, vendor management, and asset monetization initiatives. The position partners with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with business goals, comply with organizational policies, and deliver measurable value. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong project management and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cross-functional procurement projects and supplier management initiatives.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for procurement-related activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and spend tracking.
- Develop, update, and maintain procurement policies and procedures in compliance with audit standards.
- Streamline procurement processes and improve collaboration across departments.
- Provide training to stakeholders on procurement best practices and compliance requirements.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports on procurement performance and initiatives.
- Create dashboards and visual summaries for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support preparation of materials for quarterly business and operations reviews.
- Coordinate supplier events in partnership with Events, Marketing, and Communications teams.
- Manage event timelines, vendor sourcing, and post-event reconciliation.
- Oversee vendor onboarding, including due diligence and compliance verification.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier performance and process efficiency.
- Identify and manage asset monetization opportunities in partnership with IT and Facilities teams.
- Ensure compliance with data security and environmental standards in asset disposition.
- Report on asset sales, revenue generation, and return on investment (ROI).
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, PMP) preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in a cross-functional or corporate environment.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in metrics-driven environments with the ability to analyze and report on performance data.
- Proficiency in procurement and ERP tools (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through on multiple priorities.
