The Role

Yubico seeks a Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager for its global operations. As a member of the Supply Chain team you will support fulfillment of orders to markets worldwide, servicing both the Enterprise and Consumer markets. You will work cross‑functionally to design end‑to‑end operational solutions and lead the definition of our global logistics strategy with focus on Americas and APAC.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Manage the company’s export control program, including product classification (ECCN) and denied‑party screening for all international shipments.
  • Oversee import/export activities, ensuring accuracy of HTS, customs valuation, country‑of‑origin declarations, and Incoterms.
  • Develop and deliver trade compliance training for internal stakeholders.
  • Implement customs valuation policies for a subscription‑based model, ensuring compliance for hardware shipped with licenses.
  • Negotiate cost‑saving programs with logistics partners for new market expansion.
  • Act as operations liaison between Clients, Sales, and 3PL/carrier partners, holding partners accountable to SLAs & KPIs.
  • Serve as primary contact for global trade compliance matters; collaborate with Legal on sanctions and regulations.
  • Generate, administer, and maintain Global Logistics & Trade Compliance SOPs/SWIs.
  • Partner with Finance and consultants to address gaps in duties, taxes, and cross‑border compliance.
  • Support strategic planning for Americas and APAC fulfillment and carrier network growth.
  • Facilitate automation of logistics and trade compliance processes through new technology and software.
Basic Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience in trade compliance or logistics.
  • Background in international logistics or supply‑chain strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws, U.S. Customs regulations, and export controls.
  • Experience managing a comprehensive trade compliance program.
  • Proficiency with ERP and trade compliance tools.
  • Deep familiarity with U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR) and international customs processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with ECCN/HTS classification, AES filing, and documentation workflows.
  • Track record of managing broker relationships and resolving customs delays.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to advise technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
