The Role
The Sr. Deal Desk Specialist will play a critical role in transforming and scaling Eightfold’s deal execution engine. This individual will evolve the Deal Desk from a reactive, transactional support function into a proactive, strategic business partner to Sales. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, deep pricing knowledge, and the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders to drive predictable, efficient, and compliant deal outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesDeal Strategy & Execution
- Transform the Deal Desk function by shifting from reactive case handling to a proactive, strategic partnership with Sales.
- Provide strategic deal support to Account Executives and Sales leadership on complex opportunities, including deal structure, pricing strategy, and negotiation guidance.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations in partnership with Sales, collaborating directly with customer procurement and legal teams as needed.
- Develop deep expertise in Eightfold’s pricing models, discounting structure, and commercial levers to advise Sales throughout the deal cycle.
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements that streamline deal execution and reduce friction across the sales cycle.
- Maintain and enhance deal governance frameworks, approval matrices, and pricing policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of customer deals.
- Engage directly with Regional Vice Presidents to support strategic territory‑level deal planning and coaching.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on commercial strategy, packaging, and overall revenue execution.
- 2+ years of Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Pricing, or related experience in SaaS or enterprise technology.
- Strong understanding of SaaS pricing, commercial contracts, and deal structures.
- Ability to navigate complex deals and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working with Salesforce, CPQ tools, Clari, or similar systems.
- Highly organized with a track record of improving processes and driving operational efficiency.
