What you’ll do- Under limited supervision, implement and administer all aspects of the corporate environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program and the site-specific safety program for the assigned area or responsibility.
- Implement, administer, and conduct orientation and basic trainings; continuously educating, coaching, and mentoring in classroom settings, meetings, or during job walks.
- Perform regular site inspections and observations; engage with employees, supervision, and management to educate and coach on safe work practices; recognize and reward teams.
- Document findings, compile information, create detailed reports, analyze data, and track progress; maintain files and records for long-term storage.
- Coordinate with client/owner, project management, field supervision, and leadership to ensure successful EHS program implementation; represent safety in meetings.
- Begin shift in the field, coordinate with crews, participate in pre-task plans, and ensure teams have what they need to work safely.
- Perform, document, and record environmental sampling using tools such as a dosimeter, light meter, and multi-gas meter.
- Coordinate emergency response, provide care for injured employees, perform incident investigations, conduct interviews, compile information and photographs, complete incident reports, participate in incident review, and develop lessons learned.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, health, safety
- High school diploma or equivalent with experience
- OSHA 30
- 0-6 months with bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of relevant experience with high school diploma or equivalent
- Some travel may be required
- General work environment with sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending; indoor work with varying environmental conditions
- Noise level typically low to medium; can be loud on the jobsite

- Physical requirements include sitting, standing on various surfaces, climbing ladders, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs; work may be indoors or outdoors with varying climates
