Pay Rate/Range: The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $90,400 to $93,564/year. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full salary range for this position is $65,700 to $115,100/year.

Brief Summary OfJob Duties
Under general supervision of the Associate Director of Custodial and Landscape Services, the Custodial Supervisor is part of the custodial supervisory team that is responsible for all aspects of the department's round‑the‑clock custodial services program involving 100+ custodial working staff. The Custodial Supervisor has full management responsibility for achievement of operational, personnel, and customer satisfaction objectives for all staff on their assigned shift.
Required Qualifications- High School Diploma required or equivalent certification
- 4‑6 years Advanced knowledge in custodial and housekeeping services.
- 1‑3 years Supervisor or Lead experience.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn new programs and hardware.
- Hours and days may vary to meet the operations needs of the department. Visual acuity:

Ability to effectively hear and comprehend oral communication. Sense of smell:
Ability to distinguish smells of various chemicals used in the cleaning process and to detect odors emanating from potentially hazardous conditions. Problem solving skills:
Ability to understand and apply University and Department policies and procedures to specific situations. Ability to exercise sound judgement in solving problems. Working under pressure:
Will assist emergency clean‑up projects, maintain closet inventory of equipment and supplies, and maintain work assignment to department standards. Ability to accomplish work within deadlines; may handle more than one project at a time. Working with others:
Needs to be able to work effectively in a team environment and needs to receive and follow instruction from supervisors. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English. May be required to wear a UCSB‑provided uniform. - Required to hold a valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies and procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
